19-year-old Jayvon Hatchett was charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon throughout the commission of a crime following he allegedly stabbed the employee numerous instances in an unprovoked attack.
Police say Hatchett entered the shop, asked for a thermostat and when the worker mentioned they did not have the item, he was attacked.
When Hatchett produced his very first look in court, a police Sergeant was questioned why Hatchett stabbed the AutoZone employee. Hatchett reportedly told the Sergeant he “felt the have to have to locate a white male to kill” following watching videos of police brutality taking place across the nation, WRBL reported.
