Hasbrouck Heights Free Public Library Adding Additional Staff

HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ – The Free Public Library of Hasbrouck Heights has made additions to its staffing, it was announced at the Trustees July meeting.

Maureen Herman, the Youth Services Director in Training, was promoted to full time at 35 hours a week. Herman was named to the part-time position in April 2020.

Laura Rios will return to the Hasbrouck Heights Library in the full time position of Head of Adult Services beginning in late August. She first served part-time in the Reference Department in 2015.

Library Director Mimi Hui told TAPinto after the meeting that Rios is bilingual (Spanish/English) and “reflects the community we are serving.”
