A New Jersey-based company that works with Amazon at their facility in Middletown Township is laying off 114 workers locally.

Prime EFS will layoff 114 employees from their Cabot Boulevard West site effective October 3, according to Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN) notice filed recently with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry.

Prime EFS is a vendor that offers carrier services to the Amazon warehouse on Cabot Boulevard.

“We work with a variety of carrier partners to get packages to Amazon customers and we regularly evaluate our partnerships. We have ended our relationship with Prime EFS LLC and are working with them to ensure all drivers have continued employment with little to no disruption to pay,” an Amazon spokesperson told LevittownNow.com.

A call for comment from Prime EFS was not returned.
