US Congress expected to vote on decriminalizing marijuana at federal level in December

We need both and this is a start.

We don’t need 18 and 20 year old young people being locked up for 20 years over a few grams of weed because it is a schedule 1 on a federal drug. This still happens and there are plenty of humans incarcerated right now for 20 plus year for smoking a joint ten year ago and caught by a cop.

It is ridiculous but decriminalization is definitely the best first step in my opinion
