Diners can enjoy half-price meals at Derbyshire restaurants this month. The Eat Out to Help Out program was started by the government to bring people back to the streets and boost the hard-hit hospitality sector.
It offers customers up to 50% off their meals when they dine at any participating restaurant, bar or cafe on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday in August.
You don’t need a voucher to get the discount – just find a participating restaurant and make a reservation (or show up, if they accept walk-in tours).
To help you find participating restaurants, cafes, pubs and bars near you, we’ve partnered with our local listings website InYourArea to create this widget.
All you have to do is enter your zip code below (click “Show on InYourArea” if the results don’t show up automatically) to find participating business details right at your doorstep.
Where can you get the 50% off the Eat Out to Help Out program near you? Find out by adding your zip code.
If you don’t see the search box on your device, click “show interactive content”.
The discount only applies to food and non-alcoholic drinks, so you’ll have to pay the full price for any alcoholic beverage you order, plus the service charge if it’s added to your bill.
Best of all, you can use it as many times as you want throughout August and the restaurants will be fully reimbursed by the government for the money you save.
